This larger cap is a wonderful size especially for summer when you have braids. The thing I am very apprehensive of is the longevity. I have not had the cap long and it's already falling apart. Fits great! Feels great! Treats my curls with the love and care they deserve. I was hoping that the longer cap would allow me to put all my hair up and have that slouchy look. Seems that my hair is much too long though. In truth, my hair hangs down past my shoulders and the cap naturally wants to create a 'cone head' shape.

The original slap is still great-but the extra space and lining in this cap allowed for all my curls to have more space to move around!!!

So , this is my 2nd cap , I love this cap so much! I am actually wearing one as I type this review. I use one to sleep in and the other too work out side in. The drawstrings help to compensate for the elastic man that loosens up over time due to wear and tear. Good freaking stuff ! Us guys need more than a du-rag to cover and protect our Loc’s!

Really nice update with the elastic band, but the slap cap is really hot at night. Even though it’s hot, I still wear it. As my hair lengthens it would be really nice to have an actual extra long cap option.

Got it for my son to hold his locks in place when needed. He says it fits well and stays in place. Purchased two - in black and grey so he'd have a spare to wear when the other one is in the laundry.

I have purchased SLAPS for over ten years. They are nourishing and protecting to my natural hair. The original caps were not adjustable, but they were improved with that feature. I am a lifelong customer. AAA+

I actually ordered 4 of the extra long Slaps because I was looking for a nighttime solution for my locs. and these caps are working out well. Since I ordered two gray ones, I'm using one of them for nighttime and the other 3 caps I've kept for 'regular' use. Thank you

The Black extra long slap / satin-lined cap is TOP TIER. This was bought for my son. He has very long twists and his hair fits very comfortably inside the cap with extra room for his hair growth. I HIGHLY recommend this cap.

Loose fit

I enjoy the versatility of this cap. It feels very light and can easily adjusted. I wear it on errands and also as a sleep cap. Highly recommended. However, I do wish they offered more colors than just black.
